Welcome to this new section of Sandwell Trends designed especially for voluntary and community organistations requiring information to support funding applications. This section has been developed in partnership with voluntary sector organisations in Sandwell, in response to the increasing need to provide accurate up to date information to evidence local need in funding applications.

Sandwell Trends provides a wide range of information for the borough as a whole and at various levels of geography, that may be of use when preparing a funding bid. Please visit the Sandwell Trends home page.

Support Organisations

Sandwell MBC - External Funding Team
The External Funding Team can assist you through the many stages of the External Funding Process from finding funding for your project or idea, completing your bid, to the evaluation of your projects.

Sandwell Council of Voluntary Organisations (SCVO)
SCVO provides representation and support to the local voluntary and community sector. It offers a wide spectrum of specialised services and aims to support all not-for-profit community groups and voluntary organisations.

Sandwell Community Information and Participation Service (SCIPS)
SCIPS offers facilities, skills and expertise to provide a range of high quality services, and a link for all communities to consult on local, regional and national, Housing and Regeneration issues. SCIPS exists to enable an effective exchange of views and opinions, enabling communities to influence and affect change.

Community Help & Information Network Sandwell (CHAINS)
CHAINS is a partnership working initiative between Sandwell Community Information and Participation Service Ltd (SCIPS) and Wednesbury 2000 Ltd, with funding from the Big Lottery Fund. The website is a free resource for the promotion and support of Sandwell's community sector.
